About Us

The Michigan Sports Report, LLC is published by Dale Mason who also serves as Director of College Football Scouting. Dale has been evaluating college football talent for over 20 years and has proven to be as an astute evaluator of potential NFL talent as there is.

IMG_0457Dale first began his venture into the sports world operating as Sports Director at WCHW in Michigan, performing his daily sports talk radio show.  A short few years later “Mason’s Draft Forecast” was born and published their very first NFL Draft Preview in the spring of 1990 with Harold Green of South Carolina and Anthony Thompson of Indiana gracing the front cover.

In 1999 Blue Chip Scouting was founded with Dale behind the wheel.  He has continually expanded, refined and upgraded his work throughout the years.  NFL teams and agents have subscribed to his work, specifically his NFL Draft Preview issue, which has become known as the best NFL draft publication made available to the public.  Dale has also been a frequent guest on radio talk shows across the country.

The objective of The Michigan Sports Report is to provide fans, executives, scouts and agents with accurate, fair, knowledgeable professional, collegiate and high school analysis.

Dale invests 24 hours 7 days a week to his craft and works out of his main office in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Evaluating film, research, talking with coaches and maintaining the day-to-day operations of michsportsreport.com is his passion.
