Final Update and Predictions for Signing Day…..

Updated: February 4, 2015

Final updates for National Signing Day:

Grant Perry, WRCommitted to Michigan earlier today.

Keith Washington, CB – Jim Harbaugh paid him a visit recently and the Wolverines are attempting to get him to flip from Cal to Michigan.  One concern is Washington never took an official visit as he had already taken his five by the time Michigan offered. It’s between Cal and the Wolverines but Michigan has a definite shot at landing Washington.  Prediction – Cal

Van Jefferson, WR – Jefferson raised eyebrows yesterday when he removed “Ole Miss commit” from his twitter page and replaced with a picture of Detroit.  Don’t count on Jefferson until he actually signs his letter of intent.  Prediction – Michigan

Tyrone Wheatley, Jr, DE/TE – Was previously considered a UCLA lean but Michigan has made up some ground recently and they have a realistic shot at landing Wheatley.  Prediction – Michigan

Mike Weber, RB – It’s neck and neck between Ohio State and Michigan but in the end I believe he will stay committed to the Buckeyes.  Prediction – Ohio State

Chris Clark, TE – I have felt strongly that Clark will ultimately sign with UCLA.  He appears to be infatuated with the weather and head coach Jim Mora and despite the obvious concerns about how the tight end will fit into the UCLA offense going forward, Clark looks like he will sign with the Bruins.  Prediction – UCLA

Iman Marshall, CB – Not many actually feel he will sign with Michigan or any other school than USC.  He’s been thorough in his recruitment but in the end I can’t see him leaving his family and friends in southern california.  Prediction – USC

Shelton Johnson, DE – Johnson has released his final two and it is between Florida State and Michigan.  I don’t put much stock in this as many believe he is trying to create suspense for signing day.  I don’t think you can find one person that believes he is not attending Florida State.  Prediction – Florida State

Roquan Smith, LB – His final three is down to Michigan, Georgia and UCLA but Georgia has always been the front-runner. Recently, UCLA has gotten the feeling they may be in the lead for Smith but in the end I believe he will choose Georgia. Prediction – Georgia

Jarius Adams, CB – Adams took his official visit to Michigan this past weekend, however many expect him to stay committed to Rutgers.  Wisconsin is also in the mix.  I have always liked Michigan’s chances with Adams and I’m going to stick with it to the end.  Prediction – Michigan

Karan Higdon, RB – Iowa commit that took an official visit to Michigan this past weekend.  Appears to be solid with Iowa but announced today he is still deciding between the Hawkeyes and Michigan.  Prediction – Iowa
