It’s official, Brother Rice three-star WR Grant Perry received an offer from Michigan and within 24 hours de-committed from Northwestern opening up the possibility of him joining the Wolverine’s 2015 recruiting class.

Perry (6’0, 185lbs) is rated the following:

  • Scout.com – #59 WR – 3 star
  • 247sportscomposite – #110 WR – 3 star
  • Rivals.com – #80 WR – 3 star
  • ESPN – #123 WR – 3 star

Perry was teammates at Brother Rice with current Michigan QB and fellow 2015 enrollee, Alex Malzone, as they teamed up to form the best receiving combination in the state.  It appears as if Michigan fans can now enjoy watching them play together for another four years in Ann Arbor.

This would appear to end the possibility of WR Van Jefferson’s interest in Michigan.  The Wolverines have already signed Saginaw Heritage WR Brian Cole in this recruiting class.  Cole was an early enrollee that is already on campus.  With the addition of Perry with Cole it is presumed Michigan would not take any additional receivers in this class.
