The Michigan Wolverines received a commitment from one of the top players in the state in Bloomfield’s Matt Falcon who is now the fourth prep star in the past week to declare their intentions to head to Ann Arbor for college.

Falcon, arguably one of the top running backs in the country, is a much needed back that will bring a style and skill set that is currently not on the Wolverines roster.  At 6’1, 215lbs, Falcon has very good size but also possesses some “wiggle” and elusiveness that is currently lacking.  He also has above average speed and tackle breaking ability.  Below is a breakdown of Falcon’s recruitment:

High School:  Southfield

Ht:  6’1

Wt:  215lbs

Significant Offers:  Michigan, Tennessee, Oregon, Ohio State, Arizona State

Scout.com Ranking:  #8 ranked RB in the country, four-star prospect

247Sports Composite Ranking:  #13 ranked RB in the country, four-star prospect

247Sports Ranking:  #10 ranked RB in the country, four-star prospect

Rivals.com Ranking:  #13 ranked RB in the country, four-star prospect

Falcon is the sixth commitment in the 2016 class for Michigan.  Expect potentially two more commitments within the next two weeks.
